Drudge Mining

I read through the Drudge Report so you don't have to deal with horrible flashing pop-up ads:

  • Sony pays a $10 million fine for payola in pushing JLO and others. The inquiry is expanding to include the industry at large. What this really tells us is that Elliott Spitzer cannot be allowed to become governor of New York - he is far too valuable in his current role.
  • Bush may install John Bolton in a recess nomination Friday night. Because "there are important priorities we're working to advance and it's important to have people in certain positions." For instance, we need about 100 people bent over a barrel pronto. Any takers?
  • A big-time Russian spammer was found bludgeoned to death in his home yesterday. I really don't know how to feel about this.
